I like to add small organic blueberries and crushed frozen rasberries to mine. For my wife and nephew I also drizzle a line of hershey’s syrup to add some chocolate flavor.Read more

The Home That We All Dream Of, The Sierra Star
Since we don’t yet have a property on Lake Tahoe, we trek around the states to waterfront locations and I drive my wife nuts. It doesn’t matter if we are in Myrtle Beach, Kona Hawaii, Newport California or Lake Tahoe, I find a nice chair looking at the water, flop open by laptop and start writing.Read more
Have You Ever Dreamed of Racing? Build a $500 Race Car
I have dreamed of racing a car on a track in a real race ever since then. I have gone to drag races, NASCAR races, American Le Mans races, GT races, autocross races and go kart races. The trip from San Francisco to Lake Tahoe to Reno was less than a half tank including a full lake tour on New Years Eve. In Reno I made the mistake of filling it up and washing it. I returned it with nearly ¾ of a tank after paying the $65 tank fee.Read more
Pancakes like the settlers had.
After years of trial and error, I finally got a recipe that I think is worth sharing. Like the Oat and Nut pancakes at IHOP, this may take a little getting used to if you aren’t used to eating whole grains. I call them Settlers Pancakes since there are no processed or bleached grains and I figure it must be closer to the breads the first settlers had with watermill stone ground grains.Read more
