Here is what we found open, and if you know of a restaurant that re-opened with dining on site, please let us and everyone else reading know.
My honest opinion is that the idea of opening outside is utter ignorance. Open it all or the crazy lines will just make things worse. Yesterday for instance, dozens of people were lined up like they were at WalMart on Black Friday, outside Taco Surf on Pacific Coast Highway.
After waiting for who knows how long they were rewarded with a plastic table and chairs in the parking lot spaced about 15 feet apart. Really? Who thought this would be safer and better?
Today we are on the road to find if any other Restaurants re-opened in the area. If you find one please post it below.
In Long Beach, which is LA county, it is still takeout only and the new San Pedro Fish Market also had a line out the door that was quickly closing the 6 foot gap.
Clearly none of that mattered since in Long Beach there is zero enforcement of “no sitting or sunbathing” as the parks were full and out of area tourists fought for a parking spot.
