Doheney Beach CA – Surfers gathered at beaches across Southern California for a west swell that brought waves up to 15′. With summertime crowds at the famous beaches like Blackies in Newport Beach and the world famous pier at Surf City USA.
A few locals ventured south to find long rolling waves onThursday and Friday at Doheney Beach. Looking more like a winter day in Waikiki than Southern California, Captain Billy was asked by a tourist sitting on the beach “How was it?” To which he replied “Today is no yesterday!”
