Beach Street Calendar: Santa Barbara County, Oct 8–25, 2026

Updated October 8, 2026. Danish Days, the Lemon Festival, Taste of the Santa Ynez Valley, the Avocado Festival, and the early-October Bowl and harbor dates are off this list. What’s left runs from this weekend through late October. Ticket prices below were checked on the organizer sites on October 8 and can change, so use the ticket link before you buy. Where no price is printed, the organizer has not published one.

This weekend — October 9–11

Jungle with Rio Kosta — Friday October 9, 7 p.m., Santa Barbara Bowl. sbbowl.com.

Los Olivos Day in the Country — Saturday October 10, 10 a.m.–5 p.m. Free. The 46th year: parade at 10 a.m., vendors, food, and the pumpkin-pie contest. losolivosca.com/dayinthecountry.

Los Olivos Wine Festival — Saturday October 10, 1–4 p.m., gardens at St. Mark’s-in-the-Valley. About 200 guests, 21 and over. No ticket price is published on the event page. losolivosca.com/losolivoswinefestival2026.

Solvang Festival Theater paranormal investigation — Saturday October 10, 10–11:30 p.m. A late add; check the theater for tickets.

Palm Tree Music Festival — Saturday and Sunday October 10–11, Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club, Carpinteria. Doors 3–10 p.m. both days. No price here: the figures in circulation don’t match, so go to palmtreemusicfestival.com/montecito for tickets.

Still running through the month

Solvang Scarecrow Fest — all of October. Scarecrows around town, and you can vote for a favorite. The town’s October roundup is on Visit Solvang. The Spooky Food & Wine Trail is a separate, free map stroll for the whole month. It is not the ticketed adults’ trick-or-treat below.

Pianos on State — through October 19. Painted pianos on State Street and a few other spots, free to play. sbac.ca.gov/pianos-on-state.

October 16–18

Adults Trick-or-Treat — Friday through Sunday October 16–18, noon–8 p.m., wineries and bars in Solvang, Los Olivos, and Buellton. Costume required. The early-bird price of $40 ended October 1. Tickets are $49 on the organizer’s page as of October 8. santaynezwinecountry.com.

Santa Barbara Vintners Festival Grand Tasting — Saturday October 17, Firestone Estate (formerly Crossroads), 4875 Foxen Canyon Road. Early entry noon, general admission 1 p.m., ends 4 p.m. On the organizer’s site as of October 8: general admission $125, Santa Barbara County locals $95 (first 250), early entry $175, non-alcohol $35. sbvintnersweekend.com.

MUNA — Saturday October 17, 7 p.m., Santa Barbara Bowl. sbbowl.com.

Harbor & Seafood Festival — Saturday October 17, 10 a.m.–5 p.m., Harbor Way. Free. The 23rd year, timed to lobster season. santabarbaraca.gov.

Ride SB100 — Saturday October 17. Rides leave Chase Palm Park starting at 7 a.m. (the 100-mile), with shorter routes after that. The finish-line beer garden runs 11 a.m.–6 p.m. Registration prices are on ridesb100.com.

17th Asian American Neighborhood Festival — Sunday October 18, 11 a.m.–3 p.m., El Presidio de Santa Bárbara. Free. sbthp.org/aanf.
