2017-MODEL OC AUTO SHOW ROARS INTO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA OCTOBER 6 TO 9

West Coast Debuts, KIA Telluride Concept, Off-Road Test Tracks, Ride and Drives, Exotic Gallery and More

ANAHEIM, Calif. – (September 15, 2016) The 2017-model OC Auto Show kicks-off auto show season in California with more than 600 of the newest vehicles Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, October 9. For four special days, the Anaheim Convention Center will transform into a car aficionado’s dream featuring the latest cars, trucks, crossovers, SUVs, commercial vehicles, alternative fuel options and hybrids from 35 manufacturers, as well as exotics, new technologies, driving simulators and more than 100 vehicles to drive at the event.

From consumers to car lovers, everyone is invited to check out all the latest vehicles in a non-selling environment, talk to product specialists, inspect engines and experience the latest automotive technology. Several new models will turn heads on the show floor including the Chevrolet Bolt, Fiat 124 Spider, Ford Shelby GT350, Hyundai Ioniq, Infinity Q60, Jaguar F-TYPE SVR, Range Rover SV Autobiography Dynamic, Toyota Prius Prime, Volkswagen Golf Alltrack and more. Additionally, there will be pre-production models and the KIA Telluride concept offering showgoers a glimpse into the future of automotive design.

“This year, the Orange County International Auto Show is 25% bigger to give showgoers more of all that they love about the show,” said Orange County Automobile Dealers Association Executive Director John Sackrison. “We’ve got a great show in store for everyone – more cars, more trucks, more exotics, more vehicles to drive and more fun.”

Take the show floor experience to the next level and drive a lineup of incredible vehicles at the OC Auto Show. Licensed drivers are invited to get a feel for the performance and handling of more than 100 new vehicles from 15 manufacturers including Acura, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Honda, Jeep®, KIA, Lexus, Mazda, Nissan, Ram, Toyota and Volkswagen.

Showgoers wanting to stick to the auto show floor, but still get behind a wheel should check out a thrilling racing simulator in the Dodge display. The Dodge Viper will be available for exciting simulator test drives, right on the auto show floor!

Professional 4×4 drivers will take passengers on a thrilling interactive adventure along an off-road test track at

Camp Jeep®, featuring the iconic Jeep® Mountain, an 18-foot, 35-degree hill climb. A collection of all-new Jeep® models will be available to experience including the Wrangler Unlimited, Wrangler Rubicon, Cherokee Trailhawk and Grand Cherokee. Additionally, children are invited to join in the fun of this interactive adventure zone with the Camp Jeep® Anaheim Kids Test Track, as well as a climbing wall.

Get an up-close look at ultra-high-end exotic vehicles from top manufacturers in the Exotic Gallery. Over-the- top exotic vehicles will be showcased as “masterpieces” including the latest from Ferrari, Lamborghini, McLaren, Porsche and Bentley, courtesy of Ferrari Maserati of Newport Beach, Lamborghini McLaren of Newport Beach, Porsche Newport Beach and Bentley Newport Beach. A stunning collection of premier, high-end specialty vehicles will also be featured in duPont REGISTRYTM LIVE.

Children are invited to participate in the OC Auto Show Scavenger Hunt where they will search the displays with a special pass to collect stamps from manufacturers. Once they collect all the stamps, kids can turn in the pass the chance to win prizes, at the Activities Center.

Don’t miss the Motor Trend Best Drivers Car Display. This special showcase will feature the magazine’s pick for best new car this year, along with several other contenders as road tested by editors for 0-60 mph speeds, 60-0 mph braking, a patented figure-eight test and rides down Highway 198 and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca.

The auto show will also feature several vehicles from fan favorite Roadkill, the popular automotive reality show hosted by David Frieburger and Ryan Finnegan featuring hot rods, street machines and high performance rides. This showcase will offer fans an up-close look at Roadkill’s most popular creations!

  • The Los Angeles Laker Girls Meet & Greet – Meet The Los Angeles Laker Girls and snap a selfie onSaturday, October 8, from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Free Children’s Admission Sponsored by the OC Register – All children 12 and under are admitted freeall show days when accompanied by a paying adult.
  • Food Trucks – Sample a delicious selection of tasty food truck eats, right outside the convention center.

    The OC Auto Show will be open to the public Thursday, October 6 through Sunday, October 9, at the Anaheim Convention Center, located at 800 W. Katella Avenue in Anaheim.
